Refund Policy

1. Overview

Thank you for choosing MotionCraft. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which you may request a refund for credit packs or subscriptions purchased on our platform. We are committed to a fair and transparent refund process. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, your request must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.
  • The purchased credit pack or subscription is unused and unspent, and your account remains in the same state as at the time of purchase.
  • You have not violated our Terms of Service or Usage Guidelines.
  • You have not initiated a parallel refund process through another channel (e.g., bank dispute, payment platform chargeback).

3. Non-Refundable Items

We are unable to issue refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Credits already used: Once any credits have been consumed to generate, render, or edit a video task — regardless of whether the output meets your expectations — those credits are non-refundable.
  • Beyond the 7-day window: Orders older than 7 days from the purchase date are, in principle, no longer eligible for refund.
  • Promotional or discounted purchases: Orders purchased at non-standard pricing — including limited-time discounts, holiday promotions, coupons, or bundled gifts — are non-refundable.
  • New-user bonus credits: Free credits granted upon registration cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
  • Subscription periods already served: Subscription fees covering a billing period that has already begun are non-refundable. Only future, unused periods may be cancelled or prorated.
  • Policy violations: Purchases linked to a breach of the Terms of Service (e.g., prohibited content, platform abuse, account suspension) are not eligible for refund.

4. The Nature of AI-Generated Output

MotionCraft's video beautification, color grading, subtitle packaging, and watermark lightening are powered by AI models. Because of the inherent variability of AI-generated content, we cannot guarantee that every output will match your expectations exactly. If the result is not what you hoped for, you may:

  • Re-generate for free using the same source material — we will, within reasonable limits, compensate a portion of the credits (see Credit Compensation Rules).
  • Adjust your source material or parameters and try again.
  • Contact support for manual review if repeated attempts fail to produce a usable result.

Please note that dissatisfaction based solely on personal aesthetic preference or subjective expectation does not constitute grounds for a refund.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to billing@motioncraft.art with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include in your email: the email address on your account, the order number (Order ID), date of purchase, item purchased, and the reason for the refund.
  3. Attach any relevant screenshots or receipts to help us verify quickly.
  4. We will review and respond to your request within 3 business days of receipt.

6. Refund Method and Timing

  • Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (credit card, third-party payment platform, etc.).
  • Refund arrival time depends on your bank or payment platform and typically takes 5–15 business days.
  • If the original channel cannot process the refund, we may contact you to arrange an equivalent alternative.
  • The refund amount is based on the actual amount paid. Gift credits and coupon-discount portions already applied are not returnable in cash.

7. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. After cancellation, you will retain access to your subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period, after which the subscription will not renew. Subscription fees for an already-started billing period are non-refundable.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision, please first contact us at billing@motioncraft.art — we will review your case in good faith. If we still cannot reach agreement, the dispute will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with the relevant provisions of our Terms of Service.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our business, applicable laws, or partner policies. Updated terms take effect once posted on this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you via in-app notice or email.
