Refund Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains the refund and cancellation rules for subscriptions, credit packs, and other digital services purchased through MotionCraft. Before placing an order, please confirm the price, billing period, credit amount, and product entitlements shown at checkout. Except as stated in this Policy or required by applicable law, purchases of digital services and virtual credits are generally non-refundable.
2. When You May Request a Refund
We will review refund requests when:
- You submit the request within 7 calendar days of purchase and have not used the related subscription benefits or purchased credits.
- You were charged more than once for the same order or the amount charged differs from the amount shown at checkout.
- You paid but did not receive the purchased entitlement because of an error attributable to MotionCraft or the payment system.
- A refund is required by applicable law.
Meeting one of these conditions does not guarantee approval. We may need to verify your account, order, credit usage, and payment records.
3. Generally Non-Refundable Circumstances
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, cash refunds are generally not provided for:
- Credit packs that have been used in whole or in part, or related generation tasks already submitted to an AI service provider.
- Change-of-mind, accidental purchase, or failure-to-cancel requests submitted after 7 calendar days.
- Dissatisfaction based only on aesthetic preference, creative preference, or subjective expectations about AI output.
- Free, gifted, promotional replacement, or bonus credits, which cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Accounts restricted or terminated for violating the Terms of Service, abusing the Service, or committing payment fraud.
- Currency conversion differences, foreign transaction fees, or other charges imposed by a bank, payment platform, or card issuer.
4. Failed Generations and Credit Returns
If a generation task fails because of a confirmed platform, infrastructure, or AI provider error, the system will generally release frozen credits or return the associated credits to your account. A credit return is not a cash refund. Tasks that fail because of unsupported input, a content-policy violation, a user device or network issue, or user cancellation may not qualify for a credit return. If credits are not restored as expected, contact us with the task identifier.
5. Subscription Cancellation
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the customer portal made available by MotionCraft. Cancellation generally stops future automatic renewals. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, you may continue using paid benefits through the end of the current billing period, and a billing period that has started or been used is non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically submit a refund request.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email billing@motioncraft.art and include:
- The email address associated with your MotionCraft account.
- The order identifier, purchase date, and product or plan purchased.
- The reason for your request and any screenshots or other information that helps us verify the issue.
Do not email full card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive login credentials. We generally respond within 3 business days after receiving complete information, although investigations, holidays, or payment-channel processing may require more time.
7. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. The refund is limited to the eligible amount actually paid and does not include free credits, gifted benefits, or non-refundable third-party charges. After MotionCraft initiates a refund, banks and payment platforms typically require 5 to 15 business days to post it, and the exact timing is controlled by those institutions. If the original payment channel cannot receive the refund, we will contact you to determine an appropriate method.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue. If an external dispute has already been opened for the same order, we may pause our internal refund review until the payment institution completes its process. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in restrictions on the account or paid features.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Updates generally apply to purchases made after they take effect unless applicable law requires a different rule. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide appropriate notice where required by law.
10. Contact Information
For questions about refunds, credits, or billing, contact billing@motioncraft.art. Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer protection law.
